At constant distance ,how is speed related to the time of travel
Good Day
Problem:
At constant distance ,how is speed related to the time of travel
Let us try to answer this problem in a mathematical way.
The formula of speed is, speed = distance/time and to find distance,
we can use the formula distance = speed × time (d=s×t).
Lets try to use 3 scenarios of an objects that have the same distance but travels in different speed and time and lets understand the relationship of speed and time.
Object A Object B Object C
speed m/s 5 m/s 10 m/s 25 m/s
time s 10 s 5 s 2 s
distance m 50 m 50 m 50 m
The data above shows that as when speed increases, time decreases if distance is held constant.
Answer:
The relationship between speed and time is inversely proportional, when speed increases, time decreases when distance is constant.
Hope it helps....=)
